There are many sorts of Murder Mystery Events. Some hotels book a Murder Mystery Event and a man turns up in plain clothes and pushes a button on a tape recorder and it can be flat, too deep, a little boring and too much brain work!
If you have your best friends with you, colleagues, or business clients, you want to ensure the night is a complete success and not a failure, as this may reflect on you or the Company.

Just thought that we would write to tell you what a wonderful time we all had at our Hen and Stag party. Every single person who was there had a fantastic time and each of them has come to us and said how wonderful it was that we were able to arrange something hat no-one had done before. Everyone will remember that night, it really marked the occasion in a fun and unusual way. We loved the plot, although some had drunk a little more than others and found it more difficult to follow, and the props were fantastic. It really helped everyone to settle in and become comfortable standing up and reading out loud. We also think that because you were so calm and relaxing and up for a laugh you really grabbed everyone’s attention and helped even those who are usually shy to make a good attempt at ‘gangster talk’. We have recommended you to numerous people and we are giving your number to another group of friends tonight. Hopefully it will bring you more business. I am writing to thank you for a wonderful ‘Murder Mystery Night’. My party had a fabulous night and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. The Hotel was lovely, and we were made to feel very welcome. The costume props here really helped everyone to get into the spirit of the night. It was our most successful team-building event yet. The information I was sent upon enquiry was clear, well presented and very enticing. I was impressed by the detail and obvious thought that had gone into planning rhe information pack. (reminding people to bring their glasses) and the calligraphy is a lovely touch. The evening itself was great and went off without a hitch. I must say, as the organizer of the event, it was nice to know that someone else was running things for the evening and doing such a good job of it too. I especially liked the fact that you found out right at the beginning whether we wanted to take it seriously and make notes, or just have a laugh and hazard a guess at the end. I felt that you understood the needs of our particular party and you made sure that those needs were met (right down to finding us a waiter when the wine bottles ran dry!) Some of our group were honestly quite afraid of what the night would involve and if they’d be able to keep up – I got messages from those people the next day to say that they had had so much fun, and that you had quickly made them feel comfortable in their roles. I hope my comments will be useful to you and I am happy for you to use any of them for display purposes if you so wish. Thank you again for a wonderful night and for running it so well that I could relax and enjoy myself rather than worrying about organizing.
